Tour

As a follow-up to Lou Vetrone’s talk this past October, the Tappan Zee Local Section will be organizing a tour of the Wheelabrator waste-to-energy facility in Peekskill.  The will be on Wednesday, May 4th at 1 PM.  Spots are limited, but please contact Patrick Abulencia if you wish to join.

This tour has been rescheduled! The AIChE Tappan Zee Local Section will be hosting a plant tour of the Material Recovery Facility (MRF) in Yonkers, which is located across the highway from Stew Leonards, on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at 11 AM.  This facility is responsible for recycling efforts in Westchester County.  Registration for this
